In addition to larger bandwidth buckets under the Wildblue’s Fair Access Policy (FAP), an August West Enterprise Account provides 3 main advantages.

1. Escalated support – With commercial accounts you receive 1 to 3 day business class support directly through us versus under the residential service you go through Wildblue to have a service ticket issued to dealer who then in turn has to contact you and schedule a service date. Residential service typically takes 5 to 10 days.
2. Consolidated Billing: With commercial accounts you can opt to put all accounts under one single bill. Billing options include monthly automated billing via credit card or manually generated quarterly invoicing with net 30 terms. The residential systems only offer you one option – monthly via credit card with each system billed separately.
3. IP Addresses: Static IP addresses are only available under commercial accounts. These are used for many Corporate VPN’s for remote access to centralized computers. These are also used to set up remote monitoring systems, such as security cameras, weather & environmental sensors, and fleet operations and scales. |
